This Privacy Policy explains how I handle your personal data when you use teravanesian.com, contact me, or buy a programme. It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This policy applies to all clients, wherever you are in the world. If you are in the EU or EEA, you also have rights under the EU GDPR, which are equivalent to the UK GDPR rights set out below. If you are elsewhere (for example the US, Singapore or Switzerland), you have the same rights as set out below as a matter of agreement with me, in addition to any rights you have under your local law.
Identity and contact data: name, postal address, email, phone, date of birth (where you choose to share it).
Programme data: information you share with me during coaching, including questionnaires, journaling, session notes, goals, and recordings of sessions you attend.
Payment data: billing details. Card details are handled by my payment processor (Stripe / PayPal) and I do not see or store the full card number.
Marketing data: your preferences for receiving communications from me.
Website data: pages visited, device and browser information, IP address, cookie data. See the Cookies section below.
Directly from you: when you fill in a form, book a call, sign up to my newsletter, buy a programme, or contact me by email or phone.
Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site.
From third parties: e.g. payment confirmations from Stripe / PayPal, scheduling info from Calendly.
I do not sell your data. I share it only with trusted service providers who help me run the business, under written agreements that require them to protect it:
Some of the providers listed above are based outside the UK, typically in the US or EU. This means your data may be stored or processed outside the UK by them. This is legal and standard practice.
Each of these providers operates under its own data-transfer framework, which they publish on their websites — typically a UK adequacy decision (for the EU/EEA), the UK-US Data Bridge (for US providers certified under it), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses. I choose established providers that operate these frameworks. If you want details for a specific provider, email pa@teravanesian.com and I will point you to their relevant page.
Active clients and prospects: while the relationship is active.
Former clients: 7 years after the end of our relationship, to meet HMRC tax record-keeping rules and to defend potential claims.
Prospects who never bought: up to 2 years from last contact, then deleted.
Marketing list contacts: until you unsubscribe.
Coaching session recordings: until the end of the programme, plus 90 days, then deleted unless you ask me to delete them sooner.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, please tell me first so I can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted email and storage where possible, strong passwords and two-factor authentication on key systems, and access limited to me and the small number of providers above. No system is 100% secure — email in particular can route through systems outside my control.
The Site uses cookies to make it work and to understand how visitors use it. Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link on the Site.
My Services are for adults aged 18 and over. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe I have, email pa@teravanesian.com and I will delete it.
I may update this policy. The current version is always on the Site, dated. If the changes are significant, I will tell active clients by email.
